Friday Freebie: CU Horses

Today's Friday Freebie is this set of 4 png horses to use for any of your Personal Use or Commercial use projects. 

I had a Friday freebie request of a fellow follower to make a cowgirl themed baby shower kit.  Since most of the items I'd found for a kit said they were not to be given away as freebies,  I decided to try my hand at designing some of my own elements so I could give them away as I pleased.  Lucky you...you are the recipient of my trial and error at designing :) 

Since I designed everything from the shape of the horse to the photoshop styles, I can control the terms of use. I want you to be able to use these when ever and where ever you can. 

My terms of use are simple:

You MAY:
* use this product in any way you like as long as it is not sold or given away as the original, you must modify it in some way.
* Use in any commercial project {webdesign, photography, digital scrapbooking, etc.)

YOU MAY NOT:
* you are not allowed to trade or share any files from my designs with others.
* resell, repackage, and/or redistribute these files in their original format
* claim these graphics (in their original format or altered form) as your own

How to change your blogger gmail address

I recently ran into the problem of needing to change my blogger account with a new email/gmail I had just set up.  I was a little confused as to how to do this. I figured I'm not the only one with this problem so I googled it and this was what I found from Darcy @  Graphically Designing who wrote the wonderful tutorial below.  If you'd like to see her original post, you can find it

She also recommends a few crucial things:

1. DO NOT JUST DELETE your Gmail account

2. Always download and save your template

3. BACK UP YOUR BLOG

If you've done the steps above... proceed to:

"1. Sign into your old Gmail account, the one currently assigned to your blog.
2. Go to your blog. Customize > Settings> Permissions>
3. “Add Author.” Add the new Gmail account as an author.
4. Sign out of Blogger and Gmail. Sign into your new Gmail account.
5. Accept the authorship to your blog. Don’t stop here!
6. Sign back into the first (old) account. You will need to go back to Customize> Settings> Permissions.
7. Grant your new email address Admin Privs. Both email addresses now have equal blogging control.
8. You may now sign into your new Gmail address and control your blog.
9. If you plan on deleting your old Gmail address, you may now remove it from your Blog by repeating #2, then clicking “remove”.
10. Once there is no association to the blog, you can safely delete your Gmail account without losing your blog."

Bottle Cap Magnets

  I guest posted on Down This Road Designs blog last week, so I thought I'd share this post with all of you.  I made these fun bottle cap magnets using Down This Road Designs adorable February Mix A Kit.

“Tweet Love Elements” and “Tweet Love Patterns” (pictures linked below) were both used in making this project.

I really enjoyed making these fun bottle cap magnets. It’s a pretty easy process. I made these bottle cap circles in Photoshop and printed them  on thick white cardstock (or you can print them out on a piece of 4″ x 6″ photo paper). Make sure the ink has plenty of time to dry. Use a 1″ hole puncher and stamp out the circles. Glue or ModPodge them to the bottlecap. Let it dry thoroughly. If you are familiar with how to use Epoxy Resin, follow the directions on the package. But if you want an easy way to do it, buy the raised epoxy scrapbooking stickers and place on top of the artwork . Lastly, I glued on a Neodymium Rare Earth Magnet on the back with E-6000 glue. Once again, make sure it has plenty of time to dry. Easy right?

Thumb Body Loves You Download

Good morning everyone!

Here's another Valentines Day Freebie for you all.

I was inspired by two things when I made this:

1. Brown Paper Packages {Thumb} body loves you post

 2. A cute thumbprint heart card I saw on pinterest.

So I thought I recreate a download where you can make one or the other.

English Muffin Loaves

2 pkgs. dry yeast

6 c. flour

1 T. sugar

2 t. salt

1/4 t. baking soda

2 c. milk

1/2 c. water

Cornmeal

Combine 3 c. flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soda in a mixing bowl.  Heat liquids until very warm, add to dry mixture; beat well.  Stir in rest of flour to make a stiff batter.  Spoon into two loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkle with cornmeal.  Sprinkle tops with cornmeal.  Cover; let rise in warm place for 45 minutes.  Bake at 400 degrees f. for 25 minutes.  Remove from pans immediately and cool.  To serve, slice and toast. Makes about 16 slices per loaf.

English Muffins. Oh how I love the buttery toasted pieces of goodness. :)

This is something that I just can't bring myself to buy in the store up here in Alaska. Yikes!  

I found this recipe in one of my moms ward {church} cookbooks.  I'm so glad I tried this.  It is WONDERFUL!  I will never buy English Muffins at the store again!
